Event Box’s website had complex fragmentations in the past, resulting in ambiguities and inefficient processes that required real-time solutions with upgraded modules and advanced features to ensure their operations stream smoothly.
Solution
Plego Technologies resolved the challenges and fixed all the site issues incurred explicitly with the process of Quotes. Previously, there existed a lengthy process for handling communication, resulting in a time-consuming process. Plego improved the channel by establishing a central platform for real-time communication between the vendor and the planner.

The main page features several categories where sellers can list their services and Planners can purchase them. Entertainment, Decor, Rentals, and Virtual Events are just a few of the categories available.
The web application is divided into two primary portals: ‘Vendor” and “Planner,” each with its own range of features.
VENDOR
Vendors may register, log in, select, and offer their services in accordance with the categories they have specified. Other characteristics include:
Dashboard
A dashboard with attractive and engaging visuals displays the number of events as well as many functions disguised as icons (with internal links) such as;
- Quotes (Prices, awaiting Acceptance).
- Orders (New, Fulfilled, Cancelled), Along with Others.
Quote
Price Quote Needed
- This section deals with those Quotes submitted by the Planner for negotiation.
Awaiting Quote Acceptance
- This Section Allows the User to View, Update or Cancel any Quote received from the Planner’s end for the purpose of reconsideration.
Accepted / Rejected Quotes
This Section highlights Information on quotes that are either Expired or Rejected and Canceled by the Vendor.
Quote Receipt
Vendor can Modify the A Quote Receipt which contains;
- Event’s Information.
- Event Logistic.
- Logistic Notes.
- Planner Information.
- Vendor Notes.
- Contract Items.
- Quantity, Pricing, and all the rest.
Cancel Quote
This Form allows the Vendor to Cancel the Quote by Mentioning the reason.
Orders
Orders Sections are divided into three categories as;

30 Days Out
Details on services completed in the previous 30 days are projected in this section.
My Product or Services
- This Section incorporates all the information about the Vendor’s current services and products. It also enables the vendor to view, edit and archive those features at the same time.
- To search for services, the seller could utilize filters like;
- Search Bar.
- Sort by.
- Category.
- Sub Category.
- Feature “Radio Button” allows Vendors to choose from a variety of Products and Services.
My Invites
- This Section displays;
- The total number of Invited people.
- Net Revenue from those Individuals.
- Total number of Orders from those invitations.
- The vendor can also copy the reference URL of the profile and even search for people who have been listed.
Messages
- This Section Supports Real-time Communication between Vendor and Planner.
- The Vendor may use the attachment option to share various data, images, and videos.
My Account
Profile
- This Interface allows the vendor to Upload the Image and add or edit the essential information.
Bank Details
- This Section displays the Form to be filled with Bank account details for the online transactions.
Change Password
- A Section allows the Vendor to change the Password.
User Management
- This Page reflects all the information of Users who are allowed to take charge and manage the account on their behalf.
Payment History
- This section provides insights into the Amount Payout against the date.
- The Vendor may also View the Report of a specific planner.
All Notifications
- The vendor can be notified by the planner through this Portal and Email simultaneously.
PLANNER
Dashboard
- This User-friendly interface of the Planner provides insights and access to many features.
- Short-cut icons are also illustrated in the menu bar (with internal links).
Quotes
Underneath the Quote segment, there are four sections.
Awaiting Vendor Quotes
- Section contains such Quotes sent for approval but yet to be received.
Accept or Reject Quotes
- The planner can find those Quotes which either accepted or rejected.
Quotes Pending Payment
- This Section Highlights those Quotes which have been sent but Payment is due.
Expired Quotes
- This Section contains Quotes which are exceeded 120 hours threshold and expired.
My Events
The section is divided into two categories such as;
- Upcoming Events
- It Depicts the information about events scheduled for the future.
- Past Events
- It Represents held or concluded events.
Add New Event
- This additional section allows the Planner to add an event by filling in the text fields of information such as;
- Event Type.
- Total Guest.
- Start-End Date.
Orders
- A section is divided into two categories;
- Purchased Orders.
- Cancelled Orders.
My Account
This category is further divided into multiple sections.
Profile
- A Section allows the Planner to add the Image, edit profile information, and Banks Details.
Rating and Reviews
- This section contains all the reviews; Received and given.
Favourites
- Services that are marked as favourite belongs to this section.
Get Quote
The Planner needs to register and sign in to get the quote to avail of Service, Planner may search the Service (s) or product (s) right in the centre of the search bar, or the Planner can navigate and select the desired category randomly.
Service Category
- Once the Planner selects the category, this section appears that shows all the information from the Quote price to the description and reviews.
Get Quote
- A Click on Get Quote takes the planner to the form where they need to fill in who, what, when, and where the event needs to be organized.
- The planner has the choice of incorporating the service into an existing event or creating a new one.
- As the form displays, the planner must move and enter the information one step at a time.
Event Time
The planner has the option of selecting any local time. The time zone will be converted to UTC and EST.
Event Type
This Step Allows the Planner to choose the category among the given options.
Location
The planner is required to select the location of the Event.
Event Name
The planner is guided to provide the customized Name of the Event.
Status of Provision of Graphics
Additional Information
- The Planner can also negotiate the quote against the service(s) by inputting relevant information or requesting additional features in the next step.
- Click on a Button ‘Get Quote’, sends an email, and notify the vendor.
Payment due date Notification
- A prompt notification about payment for the applied Service(s) appears during navigation.
- A “Pay Now” button takes the planner to the payment gateway.
Help
A Feature termed “Zendesk” was implemented for real-time communication in response to a query.
