Technical Proposal Writers
Plego is on the lookout for highly capable multiple Technical Proposal Writers (Remote) to research, draft, and submit high-quality proposals in response to RFPs related to web, mobile app, and software development services. This role requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
This is a WFH Position. Timings are 6:30 pm – 4 am (Pakistan Standard Time) and 7:00 pm – 4:30 am (Indian Standard Time).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze RFPs/RFQs and craft tailored responses
- Research and identify potential opportunities in the IT services space
- Draft, edit, and structure proposals, including detailed project scope, Tech Stacks, team bios, and overall project write-ups
- Collaborate with managers to develop timelines
- Ensure proposals meet all content, format, and submission requirements
- Maintain and update proposal templates and content libraries
- Keep a detailed log of all proposals and their outcomes
- Continuously improve proposal content, structure, and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s is a plus)
- 2–3 years of experience in proposal writing or bidding (IT industry preferred)
- Familiarity with Upwork or similar platforms is a big plus
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as RFPs, RFQs and TORs
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving skills
